Product Recycling Fund (PRF)

The price of electrical items includes a contribution to a producer recycling fund to ensure that electrical and electronic waste is recycled in a responsible manner.

Arnotts will take back, free of charge, on a one-to-one and like-for-like basis electrical and electronic waste. Arnotts will not accept back items which pose a health and safety risk such as broken TV screens etc. A minimum of 24 hours notice should be given to the purchaser who should have the electrical item disconnected and ready for collection. In the event that less than 24 hours notice is given Arnotts are obliged to arrange for its collection within 15 days of delivery and give 24 hours notice for this collection.

Old items can also be returned in person to the store within 15 days of purchase on production of proof of purchase.
You may also take your old electrical items to a civic amenity site for recycling. Civic amenity sites are located throughout the country and will accept all such waste free of charge.
