How to shop with Arnotts Wedding Registry
Do I need to be registered with Buy4Now to buy?
No. You can purchase from Arnotts without being a registered member, and access the regular checkout. If you are a member of Buy4Now, Ireland's online shopping centre, then you will be able to access the Express Checkout, and also track your order.

How do I add a product to my basket?
To add a product to your basket, simply click the "Add" button located on the right hand side of the wedding listing page. This will automatically add the product to your basket.

How can I see what's in my basket?
You can view the contents of your basket by clicking on the view basket image located half way down the wedding list page of the couple you are looking at.

How do I remove an item from my basket?
If you have added a product to your basket and no longer wish to purchase it - simply access your basket and click the "remove" button next to the item you do not wish to purchase. This will automatically delete this product from your basket. If you wish to empty your basket from all items, click on the "Clear all" button.

If you click on the picture on the right hand side of the homepage or the "Make an Appointment" tab along the top of the pages you will be brought to a page where you can enter all the necessary information regarding yourself and your request. This information is then sent by email to Arnotts

How does it work?
How the List Works
Purchases from your list are updated daily. Guests can obtain copies of your lists by post, fax or email or can purchase online after viewing your list. The list they receive will only show those items which are currently available. This is to minimise duplication of purchases which can happen if guests purchase from a non-current copy of your list. To enable us to provide you with a sales report we ask guests to return their copy of your list to us for updating. Not everyone complies with this request and your sales report will therefore not be comprehensive. However online purchases will always be added to your sales report. Lists are closed 28 days after the date of the wedding. Should you wish to extend the duration of your wedding list please contact the office on 01-8050548 or lists@arnotts.ie

Availability of Stock
Many of the most popular items can be out of stock from time to time. When this happens we will place an order for those items when your guest makes a purchase and update your sales report to show this item on order. Items placed on order will be delivered as soon as they become available. It is not uncommon for suppliers to deliver part ranges and incomplete orders when an item has sold well. This can often mean a long wait before we are able to obtain the item and complete delivery. A wait of six/eight weeks is not uncommon for these items. Certain items, mainly fine china, can take up to twelve months. If you don’t wish to wait for a gift to come into stock you can reselect another gift or a gift voucher.

Price Changes
The price listed on the wedding list is the normal retail price of the item. We have sales, events and promotions, which can affect the price of the items on your list. Items listed during sale periods or during an event should appear on the list at their full selling price. Your guests will be able to avail of the lower price for the duration of the sale or event. In other words, the price charged to your guests will be the current selling price at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to change prices in line with market changes. This means the price you write on your list may vary up or down from the price charged to your guests.

Delivery
Gifts will be delivered as part of our normal delivery service.

We do not hold gifts. If no one will be at home during the day an alternative delivery address must be supplied.
There is a €0.00 per guest purchase delivery charge. Your guests will be charged regardless of how many items are purchased on one visit. Alternatively, your guests may prefer to take away their purchase and deliver it personally

Returns & Refunds
Items purchased from your wedding list and which appear on your sales report may be returned directly to the wedding list office. An Arnotts gift voucher to the value of that spent by your guest will then be issued to you. However, there are certain exclusions to this rule as listed below:
  1. Items purchased from Arnotts but do not appear on your sales report fall under Arnotts Exchange/Refund Policy. These gifts cannot be returned to the wedding list department. Should you wish to return an item please visit the relevant department with proof of purchase dated within the previous 28 days and a staff member will be happy to assist you. Certain limitations apply.
  2. We do not accept return of items purchased in another store.

Important: Sales Report
In order to thank your guests for their gifts, you must view your sales report regularly. The sales report will tell you the names of the guests who purchased from your list and their gifts. Should you wish to see your current sales report please contact the office on 01-8050548 or lists@arnotts.ie and we will can e-mail, fax or post it to you.

Wedding Gift Vouchers
Arnotts wedding gift vouchers are accepted throughout the store, have no expiry date, and are useful if you are saving towards a large purchase such as furniture or carpets. It may be a good idea to highlight them on your list as an alternative suggestion especially as items are purchased and the choice available to your guests becomes more limited. You may add to your list at any time. Please note that phone orders for gift vouchers can only be accepted on A.I.B. cards for a maximum of €200. There is no limit to purchases when the card is presented in store. Phone orders for gift vouchers on Arnottscard will be accepted up to the card limit. Gift vouchers are treated as cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

Arnottscard
For your convenience, and the safety of your vouchers, we recommend that you apply for the facility of a limited Arnottscard account into which you may lodge your vouchers. An Arnottscard will be issued to you and can be used until the amount lodged has been utilised. Alternatively, you may wish to use the account on an ongoing basis and you therefore have the option of applying for full account status. Gift Voucher Only List
We have a gift voucher only list. Staff in the Wedding Gift Registry will be pleased to explain this service, which replaces the traditional list of products.

Data Protection Policy
Under this policy your address will be treated confidentially and will not appear on lists, which are issued to guests, but your contact phone number(s) will be shown. However, no other personal information will appear on your list other than the list of gifts required.

Finally
Our trained staff are there to help you through all the steps involved in setting up, running, and closing your list. In the event of a query they are there to help resolve the problem. However, they will only discuss matters concerning your list with you and will not enter into discussions with relatives or friends who may not be aware of all the arrangements you have made, and agreed to, by signing the summary of terms and conditions in the Wedding Gift Registry.

How quickly will the couple receive my gift?
With the exception of luggage, all gifts will be delivered to the couple after the couples wedding day. Delivery of the gifts takes place at the request of the couple. Despite this, the couple are fully informed of all purchases as they are clearly outlined on their sales report. Should any gifts not be in stock at the time the couple request that their gifts be delivered, Arnotts will place these on order and deliver these as soon as they come back into stock.

Out of stock gifts will be sent to storage when they become available or, if they remain unavailable, the couple will be invited to select a similar replacement item.

Delivery and availability Delivery of gift vouchers is free by Registered Post. Delivery of products costs €0.00 per order, is subject to availability, and will be via our normal store delivery system. We will only deliver to the address specified by the bride and groom. It can take up to two weeks for in stock items to be delivered. We cannot guarantee that in stock items will be delivered before the wedding and we will not be responsible for any losses, costs, damages or charges that you may suffer if we delay in supplying or do nor supply those products. Out of stock items will be placed on order and may take several weeks to be delivered, in many cases this will be after the wedding date. Special order items and certain products may take several months to be delivered. Where there is excessive delay in supplying products, and only with the agreement of the bride and groom, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the value to the bride and groom.

Claims You have a statutory right to a 7 day cooling-off period when purchasing online. If a product is defective in any way, please return it with a covering letter and we will either deliver a new one to you or refund you the cost of the product.

Accordance with specification All descriptive matter, drawings, pictures, colours, specifications and advertising on the website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the products.

Disclaimer of warranties The information contained in the website is for information purposes only and, although we have made every effort to ensure the correctness of the information contained herein, the information available through the website is provided "as is" and "as available" and without warranties or conditions of any kind either express or implied.
